Donate or Sponsor

The NHIG is dedicated to the preservation of historic ironwork through encouraging and improving education, skills and available information.

As a charity, we rely on the goodwill of passionate enthusiasts. If you are one yourself, or if you simply like to support them, please consider setting up a regular donation.  Setting up a direct debit is an easy and convenient way to show your support for our values and charitable aims. Regular donations also help us plan ahead and ensure we put our resources to best use.

A donation with Gift Aid, available to UK taxpayers, allows the NHIG to reclaim an additional 25p tax for each £1 donated, at no extra cost to you. If you’d like to make a Gift Aid donation, please read the Declaration below.

By sponsoring an event or project you can:

  • show your support for our work
  • champion high-quality craftsmanship
  • demonstrate how much you value our shared heritage

Gift Aid Declaration

I would like to Gift Aid my donations and subscriptions to the NHIG, including those that I have made in the past 4 years, or will make in the future, until I notify you otherwise.*

*I am a UK taxpayer and I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that the NHIG will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give. I understand that Gift Aid is reclaimed by the NHIG from the tax I pay for the current tax year. I will let the NHIG know if my tax circumstances or name and address details change so that my record can be amended.”

Thank you for supporting us.

Please note: Payments from company accounts and gift memberships are not valid for Gift Aid. By selecting the GiftAid checkbox above you are confirming that you have read and agree to the Gift Aid Declaration and would like to make a donation.
