COMPETITION: New Design in a Heritage Setting

At our 10th Anniversary Conference ‘Forging Ahead’ we will be presenting an award for ‘Best New Ironwork Design in a Heritage Setting‘, with the winner decided by public vote. New designs could range from bold and contemporary to subtle and sensitive, but should respond to the heritage of their setting.

SUBMIT YOUR DESIGN by sending up to 3 images and a paragraph explaining the story behind the piece and its context via email to info@nhig.org.uk with the subject line: New Heritage Design.

You can VIEW CURRENT ENTRIES here. New submissions will be added as they come in.

You are welcome to submit on your own behalf, or submit the work of someone else, with their agreement. All designs will be uploaded to our website anonymously so that votes are for the design rather than the designer. Please ensure that each submission has a name for identification purposes and a location.

Submission window: 1st July to 30th September

Voting window: 1st October to 31st October

The winning design will be announced at the Conference in our Awards slot.
