BathIRON is taking place right in the centre of the City of Bath… so it’s easy to find

BathIRON Festival location map

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Parade Gardens is a short walk from Bath Spa Railways Station and Bath Bus Station – click this map for details.

BY BICYCLE: By far the best way to get from your overnight accommodation in Bath to the festival site in Parade Gardens in the centre of the city, is by bicycle. But please don’t forget that Bath is quite hilly! We’d really like to encourage you to bring your bikes and a good quality bike-lock to secure it to the bike racks in the city centre.

BY CAR: There is no parking on site and city-centre car parks are expensive.  There are three Park & Ride sites:

  • Lansdown BA1 9BJ (approaching from M4)
  • Newbridge BA1 3NB (approaching from Bristol via A4)
  • Odd Down BA2 8PA (approaching from the south via A367)

All will deliver you into the city centre a short walk from Parade Gardens.

FESTIVAL SITE ENTRY FEES

The festival is FREE to the general public. Entrance to Parade Gardens is free for discovery card holders and blacksmithing ticket holders and £1.50/80p (charged by the local council) for non discovery card holders.

KEEPING IT GREEN AND CLEAN!

We want to keep BathIRON as GREEN as we possibly can.

We are trying to be as paper-free as possible. All speaker notes and maps will be available online.

Please bring your own refillable and reusable drinking receptacles, bottles, cups etc..

Travel as green as you can walk, car share, ride a bike, a horse! Or use public transport.

Please take your rubbish home with you and recycle it there! That means from both the blacksmiths camp site or the festival site

Recycle everything you can.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN THIS 🙂
